The rhythms of an occupant’s daily life are laid out when a home is designed. It controls how people behave or communicate. It involves creating sketches of memories and curating interactions. Designers, in a sense, have a huge obligation to plan how people live. Designing the inside of a home involves more than just placing shapes and colours together; it also involves imagining potential future experiences.
The competition involves the design of the Zima Homes 1 bedroom apartment unit to offer the highest standards of healthy and sustainable design.
Proposals must strive to highlight the contemporary design of interiors of compact affordable urban homes in an effort to commemorate the unrelenting search for better design and to inspire the constant innovation in affordable and sustainable materials and technology.
